For the most of the season, the Clarkstown North Rams have been locked in a back-and-forth battle, hovering right at the break-even mark. This week, however, the Rams exploded with a dominant two-game sweep of Eastchester. The series was capped off by a 11-1 blowout on May 12, a victory that officially pushed their record to 10-9-1 and proved that North is peaking at the perfect time–heading into the post season. The crucial win also boosted Clarkstown North to the #5 spot in Class AA.
Tuesday’s win was a full team effort. Consistent standout, senior Quinn Miller, continued his brilliant season dismantling Eastchester’s lineup with six strikeouts and allowing zero earned runs. While Miller dominated the mound he also helped at the plate, driving in two RBIs and a double that set the tone early.

Additionally, Senior Jack Kavanagh extended his impressive hitting streak, reinforcing his reputation as one of the best hitters in the league. Combined with the consistency from junior catcher Conor Mullin, the North lineup looked disciplined and prepared.
Although this week demonstrated the power of the Rams, the 2026 season has been one defined by team culture and grit. But, it hasn’t all come easy. After opening the season with dominant shutouts against Fox Lane and Harrison, the team faced a tough stretch of games mid-season. Yet, this team continually proves they know how to bounce back. Whether it was their back-to-back sweep of Suffern– shutting out the Mounties 7-0 before coming back and winning 3-2 the following day– or their more recent offensive explosion of 24 runs in just 48 hours, this team proves time and time again they can overcome any challenge.
With momentum surely on their side, Clarkstown North heads into the playoffs looking like a dangerous matchup for anyone they face.
