For the first time since 1981, North is headed to the championship game.
North defeated Yorktown 53–41 in the semifinals at the Westchester County Center, putting together one of its most complete performances of the season.
North set the tone early, knocking down three-pointers and playing strong, disciplined defense. In a competitive first half, they built a 22–18 lead heading into the break.

In the second half, Rotimi Essiso led the way with 21 points, taking control offensively and delivering in key moments. Each time Yorktown tried to close the gap, North responded with smart and consistent defense with pressure.

As the final seconds ticked off the clock, the significance of the win became clear. The 53–41 victory sends North to its first championship appearance in 43 years.

Now, North will face Rye in the title game, with history already made and one more opportunity ahead.
