Here is your CHSN 2025 Recap:
Mural Painting Class- This year, a new art class was introduced: Ms. Dunn and the CHSN Art department began a mural painting class. These students help to create some of the amazing murals that can be seen throughout the building and stairwells.

Orlando Cup Winners- The biggest rivalry of the school year: North vs. South. Both Girls varsity and Boys varsity basketball defeated their Clarkstown South opponents, bringing the Arthur Orlando Cup home to North.

Senior Superlatives- Each year, students are announced as nominees, and the Senior class votes for the winners of these various awards. This year, the Class of 2025 held their Senior Superlative awards, announcing the nominations and awards given to each student to be featured in the SAGA yearbook. Congratulations to Mr. McWeeney on being named Teacher of the Year!

New Student Orientation and Club Fair- While the Class of ‘25 said goodbye, the Class of ‘29 said hello during new student orientation. New freshmen, with help from upperclassmen volunteers, were able to walk throughout North with their schedules. The day also ended with the annual Club Fair in the courtyard, where new students can learn more about the different clubs, as well as sign up.

Senior Tailgate and Sunrise- As the buses rolled in for the first day of school, our Senior Class of ‘26 held the annual Senior Tailgate. Students picked up Starbucks and gathered with their friends to take pictures. Later in September, the Senior Sunrise took place, beginning their final school year.

The Fall Football Season- Our Rams football team had an amazing season this fall, even reaching the playoffs for the first time since 2021, winning some amazing games, and JV taking down South. Congrats to Coach Trongone, who was chosen as Coach of the Week by the New York Giants and Gatorade.

Career Fair- The annual Career Fair was a major success, as many parent volunteers took time out of their work to come and talk about their jobs or businesses to our 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students. Students learned about career opportunities based on their interests and also explored new paths.

HOSA Trip- The HOSA Club traveled up to Albany to partake in a Leadership Conference. Students were able to engage in various activities and events about leadership and even worked case studies at Albany College of Pharmacy.

Science Research- North was proud to host this year’s Science Research Showcase, where students from North and South were able to represent Clarkstown as they showed off research to neighboring districts, such as South Orangetown, Suffern, and Nyack. For the first time, Felix Festa students also attended to take a look into the program.
