On Monday, September 15th, many students from the class of 2026 gathered on the turf to attend the annual Senior Sunrise. Students woke up early, grabbed Starbucks and senior merch, and met up to watch the sunrise together, marking the start of their senior year. “I think the tradition definitely brings the class closer,” student body president Robert Holstine reflected. “We’ve all gotten to know each other over the past 3 years, so it’s nice to have big events that bring us together.”
Students snapped many photos along with their friends and classmates to commemorate this event while taking in this priceless moment of senior year.

Not only does this event mark the start of senior year, but it also marks the beginning of all the events to come. For many, this event has sparked excitement for what is yet to come for this class. “I’m most excited for prom,” said senior Heidi Peterson. “This event has made me really excited for this year and all of the wonderful activities.”
From pep rallies to dances to college commitments and graduation, it’s time to see what this class has in store for this great year. One thing is certain–they will make every little moment count.
