Wicked (Part 1)- releasing November 22nd
As one of the most anticipated movies of the year, Wicked will finally make its way to the big screen after years of being in pre-production. The star studded cast includes Tony and Emmy Award winner Cynthia Erivo, as Elphaba, and two-time Grammy Award winner, Ariana Grande, as Glinda. The movie centers around Elphaba, who is an outcast because of her green skin. She slowly forms a friendship with Glinda, the future Glinda the Good Witch. Elphaba begins the path that will ultimately lead to her becoming the Wicked Witch of the West, who is famously the antagonist in The Wizard of Oz (1939). The second part of the film will come out a year later on November 21, 2025.
